Fondue Recipe

Updated: Oct 29, 2024

Fondue for spring?!

Absolutely. Springtime produce like pea pods, asparagus, and radishes work beautifully for dipping in a bath of gooey melted cheese. Serve with a warm baguette and a green salad to complete the meal.

•Rub inside of fondue pot or medium saucepan with halved garlic clove.

•Bring 1 cup of white wine to a simmer.

•Toss 2lbs shredded cheese (we highly recommend a combo of Appalachian, Galax, and Mountaineer) with 1 T + 1 tsp cornstarch, a few turns of freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.

•Whisk cheese into wine, a handful at a time, until fully melted.

•Serve immediately and enjoy!
