Appalachian Wins Super Gold!

Meadow Creek Dairy has been named among the winners at the 35th Annual World Cheese Awards, the largest international cheese competition in operation!

Held this year in Norway, 4,502 cheeses were entered from 43 different countries across the globe. 100 different judging teams graded cheeses to award Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Each team then selected one cheese to receive one of this year’s 100 Super Gold awards.

We are thrilled to have Appalachian chosen for a Super Gold. Our Appalachian is the first cheese we made; it's always been the cheese we thought best represented our cellars, our farm, and our land, but it's often overshadowed by its showier sister Grayson. We are thrilled to see it getting its time in the spotlight... and on the international stage, no less. What a great surprise to round out our 25th year of cheesemaking!
